El pueblo turístico Almerimar está situado en la provincia de Almería en el Sur-este de España.
En la región encontramos parques naturales, playas, montañas y está conocida por su diversidad. A parte de las opciones turísticas, también está conocido la provincia de Almería por la horticultura teniendo el areal más grande de invernaderos de Europa.
The touristic village of Almerimar is situated in the province of Almeria in the South-East of Spain.
In this region we find natural parks, beaches, mountains and is known for its diversity. Besides of the numerous tourisic options the province of Almeria is well known for its horticulture in greenhouses. It has the biggest surface of greenhouses of Europe.
Este pequeño paraíso tiene prácticamente de todo; uno de los puertos deportivos más grandes de España, un campo de golf con 18 hoyos ampliando con 9 hoyos más, la playa, el mar, la reserva natural "Punto Sabinal" que se extiende entre Roquetas del Mar y Almerimar junto al mar, la Alpujarra, la Sierra Nevada a 1½ horas en coche, el aeropuerto a una distancia de solo 40 km., la capital de provincia a 30 km., la ciudad Málaga a 2 horas de camino, la ciudad Granada a 1½ horas de camino y el parque natural más al sur de Europa "El Cabo de Gata" a solo 40 minutos en coche.
La provincia de Almería es la menos conocida de Andalucia en punto turístico pero tiene mucho que enseñar a la gente de vacaciones.
This little paradise has practically everything; one of the biggest yacht harbors of Spain, a golf course of 18 holes which will be improved with another 9 holes, the beach, the sea, the natural reserve "Punta Entinas-Sabinar" which goes from Roquetas del Mar to Almerimar along the sea, the mountains of "Las Alpujarras", the "Sierra Nevada" in 1½ hours by car, the airport of Almeria at only 40 km., the capital of the province at 30 km., the city of Malaga at 2 hours by car, the city of Granada at 1½ hours by car and the most Southern natural park of Europe "Cabo de Gata" at only 40 minutes drive.
The province of Almeria is the less known province for tourism of Andalucia, but it has a lot to show and will be discovered by the tourists.
Por ejemplo tiene unos de los parques naturales más bonitos de Andalucía. Las Alpujarras, Cabo de Gata, Punta Entinas-Sabinar. Junto a La Alpujarra se encuentra La Sierra Nevada. Aquí se puede praticar el esquí durante varios meses del año hasta unos 3.400 m. de altitud. Es el lugar más al sur de Europa donde se puede practicar éste deporte.
For instance it has one of the most beautiful natural parks of Andalucia. Las Alpujarras, Cabo de Gata, Punta Entinas-Sabinar. Next to the Alpujarras you will find La Sierra Nevada. Here you can ski during various months a year up till an altitude of 3.400 m. It's the most Southern point of Europe where you can practise this sport.
Totalmente al sur de la provincia pegado al mar se encuentra la población Almerimar, antiguamente una urbanización de El Ejido. Las líneas rojas representan la autovía Adra-Almería (hacia Valencia, Barcelona). Las líneas blancas representan las carreteras. Los pueblos Roquetas del Mar y Aguadulce también son muy turísticos. El pueblo Berja es el primero de las Alpujarras y desde allí se entra en la zona montañosa.
Totally in the South of the province, right next to the sea you can find the village of Almerimar, historically a urbanization of El Ejido. The red line represents the motorway Adra-Almeria (to Valencia, Barcelona). The white lines represent highways. The villages Roquetas del Mar and Aguadulce also are very touristic places. The village of Berja is the first village of the Alpujarras and from there you enter the mountains.
La foto abajo da una impresión del pueblo aunque los ultimos tres años se han construido muchas urbanizaciones. A la izquierda se ven el mar y el puerto deportivo. A la derecha se ve el campo de golf totalmente verde por la abundancia de vegetación.
The photo at the bottom gives an impression of the village, but the last 3 years there have been built a lot of urbanizations. At the left you see the sea and the yacht harbor. At the right you see the golf course totally green because of its vegetation.
